Continuous Improvement and Commitment Contribute to VIDAR’s Achievement and Sets them Apart from their Competitors

Herndon, VA — VIDAR Systems Corporation, the leading manufacturer of medical film digitizers, announces certification to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2000. This achievement ensures that VIDAR is well ahead of the December 31, 2003 mandatory deadline.

G-MED extended VIDAR’s existing certification, “Design, manufacture, final inspection and repair of X-ray film digitizers” according to the standards EN 46001:96, ISO 9001:2000, and CE MDD Annex V. The 2000 revision of ISO 9001 is a significant change in structure as it adheres to a process model and includes an expansive series of requirements.
